Copy Outlook Data to Laptop

I would like to copy the data in Outlook 2003 from my desk top to my lap top.
Can someone tell me how it should be done?

Close Outlook. search for a file called *.pst. copy that file to the HDD of
your laptop. Do NOT overwrite any existing file. Make sure that the file is
not read-only. then on the laptop, open Outlook and do File-Open-Outlook
Data File and navigate to where you put the transferred file.
