I have 80 Gig HDD which I want to replace. Problem is the
Windows XP Pro was preloaded on the system when bought.
(I have authorized license number). No CD was provided
with the system. I want to replace the HDD. How and where
can I get the Operating Sytem?

From the computer manufacturer is your only source.
They only had to provide a recovery method.
In this case the recovery method is likely a hidden partition on the
drive.
Microsoft can not do anything for OEM.

You could use an application such as Norton Ghost to copy the entire
hard drive.

I would contact the manufacturer and see if you can get the CD.

it as "slave" then use a program like Norton Ghost to
make an exact copy of your old hdd onto you new hdd, then
simply pop the new one in as 'master' remove the old one
and - one great door stop!

Greetings --

Contact the PC's manufacturer, or buy a retail license.

Look slike a call to manufacturer to supply a Restore CD or
buy a full copy of XP Pro from shops.
