How do I remove this irritating toolbar from Outlook. Just started showing
up and I have done as Microsoft suggested and run the validation and my
system is valid so why is this toolbar not showing up. Frustrating. Thanks

Did you restart your computer after validating? Does it still show up then?
If so, contact your local Microsoft office. They can provide you with a new
license key when needed.

Windows validation is NOT the same as Office validation. Go to:

http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/val...lidateNow.aspx

and click on the *OFFICE* validation button.

So are you running a trial version of Office and its has expired? If
you bought an OEM or retail version of Outlook (or an Office edition
that includes Outlook), did you ever enter the product key to validate
the product? If not, you get a 30-day trial of the product.

If you go to Outlook's Help -> About menu, does it show it is a licensed
install?

this link will take you to a Genuine Microsoft Software site where it will
validate your copy of office... only problem is it displayed to me that i may
have gone beyond the licensing realm of the small business edition. (to quote
loosely). Now I know for a fact that that my copy is genuine. I had it
installed on my laptop for months and it worked perfectly well until
it says i may have gone above and beyond the licensing... but then y would
it was fine before two security updates installed on 2/15/10. i don't know
but i am going to delete these two security updates and see if it works
