You need to use a firewire to do the transfer. USB will not do it.
After you hook up, just leave your cam on and launch MM2 and it will
do the rest or at least that is the way mine works.
Good luck,
MR

Can anyone tell me if there is a free version of any software to
convert wav files to MP3 (and thus make them a lot smaller)? I compose
my own music for videos and the software I use asks me to upgrade at
the cost of £10 (approx 14 dollars) when I come to convert the file.
It may not be a lot but I just bought the music software (Music Maker
2004) and am am darned if I want to keep forking money out!

Help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

KeithJ

Hi Keith,

Try here http://www.dbpoweramp.com/

It's a super set of software, and the price is right (free).
