FYI.....my new system is running Vista. I am copying info from my old system
which is running XP with Office 2002. All Outlooks contacts transfered
great!! I attempted to transfer my saved mail. I saved the file in CVS
format to my documents folder, burned a disk of said file. Dumped it into
Outlook 2007. Worked great, however............the received field says
"none." Does anyone know how I can trasfer the file to include the received
dates.
Thank you, Donna

You never export or import Outlook data to transfer it. Even if you did, you
would never convert it to some other format to do so.
You have an Outlook data file.
Copy it. Open it in your new installation. Then use it however you wish.
The file you need is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's where all the
mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.

Take a look at these pages for info on Outlook data backup or transfer:

WOW, thanks so much for all the info. I took my time going through it so I
would have a good understanding of what was up. Bottom line.....all issues
have been resolved. Thanks again for your help.
