copy a file from pc to pocketpc (pocketpc initiated!)

Hi

I want my pocketpc application to get a file from the pc that it's connected to. This has to be handled completely by the pocketpc. When I try something like

if (File.Exists(@"\\myPC\myShare\myFile.txt")) MessageBox.Show("file exists")
else MessageBox.Show("file doesn't exist")

it tells me that the file doesn't exist

Has anyone an idea how I can do this?
