Hi,

since a few days I'm having the following problem:
(Errors are translated...)
When I try to copy a message from Outlook to desktop or folder I get
the mysterious "Can't create another system semaphore" error. If I try
to drag/drop the file I get a "An error occured while copying the
file".
I read all the posts about these errors, and followed the instructions
in th MS KB: http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;274696
Did not resolve my problem. Developers: (short) If I look at the
return value of the IDataObject:GetData in the drop event I get an
REGDB_E_IIDNOTREG (Interface not registered). So I think that my
registry is somehow screwed.

Can someone point me in the direction of how to resolve this?

Thanks in advance.

For the ones interested in a sollution.
My registry was indeed srewd, The entries for the IStream, and
IStorage interfaces were missing. Copied them from antorher pc, reboot
and everything works fine again.

Thanks for giving me a chance to resolve my own problems...
