After sending my previous message, I realized that my problem might not be
where I am trying to copy the file to. I think it might be the type of file.
It is a .bat file that I want to execute when Windows starts up. I use it
to map a drive letter to a network share. I have no problem copying .txt
files, but I can't copy the .bat file. The strange thing is that even after
changing the extension to .txt, I still was not able to copy this file. Does
Vista have some kind of security mechanism that prevents certain types of
files from being copied?
Thanks again,
Paul
