Hey, I posted these same errors on Saturday while trying
to upgrade, or even run the upgrade advisor, from
WIN98SE. The reply I was given was less than helpful.
What ever I try to do with the WinXP Pro disk ends with a
fatal error ending in FF58h! I too read something about
the CD being scratched, but mine is fresh from the box.
There's nothing in the knowledgebase about these errors.
This is frustrating.
