I have to reinstall Vista on my notebook, thus I removed my HD from that and
have it installed as an external HD on my PC. Both are Vista. I need to
copy my emails and address book from Outlook 2007 from the external to the
internal. I just cannot seem to be able to access my data on the external
(notebook's) HD.

How can I do this?

Open Outlook, go to 'File|Open|Outlook Data File', navigate to your Personal
Folders (.PST) file on the now external hard drive and open it, you'll find
everything there.
