copy database from win 98SE to Works 8.5

I have been unable to figure out how to do this. Have the db on a floppy.

Try the Works group, but please tell them what you used to create the
database, as this is far from clear to me.

Stick the floppy in, copy the file to your HDD. Open Works database and do
File-Open......
