Using Outlook 2003, I have set up a number of colour formatting rules in my
main Inbox folder so that mail that arrives from certain people is coloured
as required.

Whenever I set up a sub folder and move mail from Inbox to the sub folder,
the colouration is lost. Is there a way of copying the colour formatting
rules from Inbox to Inbox/SubFolder rather than having to recreated the
formatting rules all over again for the sub folder.

Copy the Current view and choose the option to make it available to all
folders. Then apply that view to the folders.

To copy the view, you need to open the Define views menu
(http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/viewmenu.htm).
