copy a clip from movie dvd into movie maker

I am trying to get clips into my presentation with small clips from movies.
Any ANY help is appreciated.

If you just want screen captures, you can
do that when you play a DVD on your computer.

If you want actual video clips...you'll have to rip
the DVD and use a program like Movie Maker
to make the clips. If these are commercial DVDs
you'll need software that will override the copy
protection and fact is...it's illegal to copy them.

purchase to do this?

Did you read the articles I posted for you?

If you rip a commercial dvd you are doing
something illegal. If you wish proceed down
this road...do a Google search for "rip dvd".
