Tried to use Windows Media Player 10 to copy a CD. All I could find was how
to make a CD from files on my PC? What did I miss?

Insert the CD in the CD drive, open WMP and click the RIP tab. Click Rip
Music button.
Come back w/ details if you fail.

Sorry, I mean make a copy of a CD. I don't always want to rip to my HDD and
then make a CD.

You need different software, like Nero, for this.
