This may seem a bit of a ridiculous idea, but back in the
days of win95 I found a file on the internet that
replaced the original CDFS.vxd file (I think that was the
name of the file) and whenever you explored the contents
of an audio CD instead of getting the *.cda files each
track was a *.wav file, which you could copy and use as a
normal wav file. If you try searching, there may be a
version for XP.
