How to copy Artistic Effects or use on placeholder

I'm using the Paintbrush Artistic Effect to alter photo of award winner andwill use this over 40 times in show. Photos are linked to placeholder. Other placeholder adjustments (shadow, 3D , glow, etc.) apply to the linked photos...except for Artistic Effects.

Is there a way to apply this without making the setting for each photo.
Pick-up style and format painter don't seem to work either.
