When I try to Copy or Move a sheet in Excel to another new workbook the
program halts and I am offered to send the error report to Microsoft. After
clearing the report sequence the program recovers the file and I can then
complete the copy. During this time it tells me that the "notes" where
recovered but they are sometimes moved to another cell within the new
worksheet. This happens every time I try to do the copy. I have XP Pro OS
and XP Pro Office on a new P4 workstation. Is there any information on this
type of error. Thanks.

The only time this happened for me was when the worksheet was corrupted. I
rebuilt it (and deleted the original) and the copy worked fine.
