I have tried to solve this problem... but to no avail
I have the PALM 5
Windows XP
Windows Media vs 10
I have successfully downloaded e-books and Audio MP3 books using the
cradle connection
Through Windows Media I have "ripped" music from MY CDs and saved them to
a file as MP3.
When clicking on the title, it goes to a box from which it SHOULD
download... however I get a message that there is no such file.. It is
there, I have played it, I have seen the amount of bytes and the fact that it
IS an MP3..
All other SYNCs work...
SO I figured I would try the DRAG and DROP ...
My "G" drive does NOT show up under "MY COMPUTER" but I was able to find
it in the CONTROL PANEL.. under devices... I made a short cut and put it on
the Desk top..
I managed to "DRAG" the music to the "G" Drive therefore putting it IN to
a memory card that was in my SANDISK reader..
IT Is ON the card... but when I put that card into my PALM, it doesn't
show... it shows the card as blank...
With my limited computer knowledge ( Which is more than most 75 yr old
gr-grandmothers have) I have gone as far as I can...
I am sending this to the different user groups AND to as many of the
people GARMIN ( this is a que3600 on my PALM) , PALM, and anyone else I
think might be able to help me
