They should be. Depends really on your case ventilation and your ambient
temperature (running outside in the middle of Death Valley is harder
than the average shed in Greenland, for some reason). Suck it and see -
worst case they should degrade gracefully. However check that your old
SocketA motherboards have a BIOS which understands Sempron (speed and
power requirements).
Why did the XP1800s die? .. even one death is pretty damn unusual, 3 is
unbelievable unless you are stressing hem out somehow..
