I did a find on *cookies* and no folder found, have system files etc shown.
Wish to transfer cookies from old HD to new HD.
Where is the cookies folder to be found on WinXP ?

The usual place is C:\Documents and Settings\{user}\Cookies

The proper way to transfer cookies is to open IE and click File | Import and
Export.

Hi and very many thanks,
tried the import option but means selecting one file at a time, no doubt
better if I had exported them to start with.
Copy/pasted the m in now so hope ok.
Most odd that *cookies* never found that address.

When I try it all the cookies are exported. No opportunity to pick and
choose. (IE7)

Did you try selecting one and pressing Ctrl-A?
