On exit from IE6, all cookies disappear. We want many of them to stay. Up
until 3 weeks ago, all was well. How can I change setting to keep all
cookies? Thanks!

Hi,
Are you sure that a third-party privacy/security program isn't doing this?
If those cookies are being accepted (Internet Options> Privacy) they should
persist even if "Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is
closed" is selected in Internet Options> Advanced.

Or, it's possible that the Cookies folder is damaged. Try deleting the
Cookies folder for the affected user account. Login as another user with
administrator privileges, or from the machine's default administrator
account (startup in safe mode) and delete the Cookies folder at
[C:\Documents and Settings\username\Cookies]

315222 - A description of the Safe Mode Boot options in Windows XP:

Hope this helps,
Don

Thanks Don. Uninstalled Norton Systemworks 2004 just in case and reinstalled.
Still not saving. I can see them in the cookie folder as they should be , but
they vanish on internet exit. Any other ideas?
Thanks Warren
