Converting a Word document to a Powerpoint Presentation

I have been trying to convert a Word 2003 document to a Powerpoint
presentation but the information does not install in the powerpoint slides.
I want to convert a 17 page document without having to copy and past each
picture and text box.

You cannot "convert" a Word document to PP file. PPt does have a feature by
which you can import a properly formatted Word outline as slides but it
imports text only, no graphic content.
