Hi

I am just about to start using Frontpage so forgive me if this is a really
simple question. I have been asked to convert some PDF files to html
(printable) to be linked to a web site. Can I do this with frontpage? I am
hoping I can cut and paste from the PDF's into Frontpage and save as an html.
Is there anything I should be aware of? Thanks in advance!

Regards

Holly

And BTW, PDF files are not text, but binary files.

The full version of Adobe Acrobat allows you to save the
text as RTF and export the images as JPEGs, then you could
rebuild it in HTML. The Sourceforge converter would
probably be easier and cheaper, though.

Copy/Pasting is also dependent on the security settings in
the PDF. It can be blocked.

oh yeah, but that's almost totally useless...not only do you lose any formatting, but it's not very selective in what you can highlight/copy (for instance; a single column of a 3 column spread).

Hey, I wasn't making any qualitative statements - only that it can be done.
