1) Have your host apply the FP SE to your site
(and confirm your FP userID/password for FP access)
- it will not change anything in your current web site content
- it will just add the FP SE control files
2) Then in FP2003, File Open Site and enter the URL as
http://www.just-for-fun-club.net/ and enter your FP userID/password
From the menu run Tools Recalculate Hyperlinks
(updates the FP SE meta files and indexes)
3) In Windows Explorer create a top level folder w/o spaces or punctuation
(say C:\JustForFunClub)
4) From the menu use File Publish Site
On Remote Site Tab select the option for File System and browse to C:\JustForFunClub
On Publishing Tab select All pages
(accept option for FP to convert the local folder to a FP Site)
When done on the Remote web site tab select Open the Remote site in FP
(when open, switch to the online version of FP and use File Close Site / File Exit)
You will now have a local copy of your web in FP open to work in
- if necessary rename your home page filename to the same filename as on your hosted site
Edit away
- When done use the File Publish Site
On Remote Site Tab select the option for FP or SP Services and enter your URL as
http://www.just-for-fun-club.net/
On Publishing Tab select Changed pages only pages
PS
Make sure in Tools Page Options Authoring you have enabled the FP SE before you start

http://www.just-for-fun-club.net I want to add pages using FP and don't want
