I have built over 100 sites using FrontPage98. A typical example is
complaintcenter.com. I use FP's standard form handling to generate e-mail
responses. I use webbots for copyright statements on all sites.
Many of sites are updated daily and all of them monthly. They are HTML only.

I am considering replacin FrontPage98 with FrontPage2003.

How difficult will it be to convert these sites to FP2003 on my Windows XP
Pro platform? I don't want to write any code.

Will this eliminate the use of FP extensions?

Thanks for any thoughts,
Peter

Just open them in FP2003, they should be fine. You will still need to the FP extensions, FP2003 uses
the same feature as all prior versions under the FP2000 or FP2002 extensions

Thanks... My host service has only 2002 extensions. What do you recommend
that I do... I cannot find FP2002. Should I switch to Dreamweaver or
something else?

FP 2003 uses either the FP 2000 or 2002 extensions. You don't need FP 2002.

But to be sure your webs recognize the new FP version you should publish all webs (all pages) at least once in FP 2003 from say
online host to local PC

Fp2003 actually uses the FP2002 extensions....there are no Fp2003
extensions.
