Converting OUtlook 2002 contacts onto computer running Vista

I just got a computer which runs Vista and have installed my Microsoft Office
XP version which runs Outlook 2002 on this computer. It will not, however,
read the outlook folder which I have copied from the old computer to the new
one. Can someone please tell me how to do this? I continue to get an error
message stating that the '.pst file is not compatible with this version of
the personal folders information service. '
