We have replaced our server recently and was wondering if someone could point
me in a direction to convert the Windows NT Raid 5 server to an Windows XP
workstation as it would be good to put it to use. In trying to install XP, it
just sees the existing server. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Perform a standard WinXP installation:
- Boot the machine with a WinXP CD.
- When prompted, allow the hard disk to be formatted.

I'm sorry, I just now tried and booted from the windows XP cd, went all the
throught to Windows setup, asked if wanted to install, hit enter to continue.
When I enter then it goes and says "Setup did not find any hard drives
installed on this computer. Make sure they are powered on, etc., Setup cannot
continue.

I tried this twice with same result. There has not been any problems with
the hard drives in this sever. Please advise and thanks.

Are the drives SCSI? If they are you might need drivers for the SCSI
controller on a floppy to be installed when the prompt is given for
other drivers.
