Hi everyone

OK, I worked out how to convert my normal CD's to mp3 using CDex (great
program).

Now... how do I turn mp3's into a format that can be played on a normal CD
player? Is there a preferred freeware that people have been using? Thanks,
Kaspen.

Great you found CDex useful for converting to mp3 .... now try it to
convert back the other way, it works

Most any modern CD burning program will do it automatically when you
tell it to make an "audio CD".

However, if your end purpose in ripping CDs to MP3s originally was *not*
the MP3s themselves but to replicate the original CD to another CD, your
burning program could have done that and you wouldn't have the quality
loss of making an audio CD from MP3s.

Thanks dadiOH. I realise that straight copies have the best quality. What I
have is some mp3's from other people but want them for someone else who only
has a normal CD player. It's all good. Thanks heaps.

I felt too daft to ask, but how?? Can you give me a quick rundown if you
don't mind? Many thanks, Kaspen.

1. Read the CDex help file.

2. Push "Convert"...or run your cursor down the buttons on the right
side to get the pop up explanations.

3. You don't need to decode MP3>Wave to burn an audioCD assuming your
computer and burning program aren't from the dark ages.
