I am very new to movie maker2 and video editing for that matter. I've made a slide show including audio and it plays in Windows Media player just fine but I don't know how to burn a DVD. I want to watch it on a TV with a DVD player. I've read about saving it to a DV-AVI file and then converting it to a mpeg2 file to burn using My DVD. (I have Sonic My DVD software) But I don't know how to save as a DV-AVI file. Once it's in Windows Media Player, it doesn't give me a SAVE AS option. Please give me simple steps. Talk to me like I'm in third grade!

Go to FILE menu item

Pick SAVE MOVIE FILE

MY COMPUTER > NEXT button

pick a target location for your file > NEXT button

choose the OTHER SETTINGS radio button, then choose DV-AVI(NTSC) from
the pick list

> NEXT button

Once that file is completed you can send to your DVD software for
rendering/authoring
