Hope someone can help..... I would like to convert my external firewire
drives from fat32 to ntfs. I tried the convert command that works in xp
but it's not working in vista. Is there a built in utility in Vista to
convert fat32 drives to ntfs?

I believe this is the syntax for the command

convert d: /fs:ntfs

You might need an admin command prompt
[start > cmd (hold down ctrl and shift and press enter) ]
