Hi,

I have an SBS 2000 server with 4 36GB drives installed on
a SCSI controller with RAID support. At present the
drives are setup as dynamic with a small FAT volume plus
a C drive of 8GB and a D drive of 80GB. I am thinking
about making the server RAID 5 fault tolerant.

How easy would it be to do this and what is the best way
to go about it?

Thanks.

You'll need to boot your controller utility (possibly Cntl H or Cntl A at
POST ) to enter controller bios, and build the raid 5. This will destroy all
data on the drives so you'll need to start a new install.

Many thanks for this information. Will investigate this
route.
