Converting encrypted WMA?

Yesterday I bought my first album from Tesco's music download service
at http://www.tescodownloads.com/ and, after several setbacks, finally
have all 17 WMA tracks on my HD. I've played all 17 on WMP9 to get
'license acquired'.

But now I've encountered another obstacle. I have a program for making
slideshow 'movies' on DVD, with accompanying background music, and I
want to use one of these 17 tracks. But it must be in MP3 form.
However, on trying to convert the WMA into MP3, using my usual
dbpowerAMP Converter, I get a message to effect that 'file is
encrypted, so cannot be converted'.

What's going on here, and how can I get an MP3 track from this album
please? After £8 plus about 8 hours work and phone calls, I reckon I'm
entitled to it!

Burn a Music CD and then rip it to an mp3 file.
