Converting embedded Power Point objects

I received a Power Point embedded into a word document. By mistake I
converted the presentation object to Microsoft PowerPoint slide. I did this
by choosing Presentation Object then convert. Now I can't get it to change
back to Slideshow. Every embedded Power Point document I receive will only
open up in slide and will only be the first slide. I cannot see any of the
other slides. This is for every embedded power point presentation that is
sent to me embedded in either a word document or an excel document. Please
help if you know how I can change the default back to Presentation.
