I am trying to convert a Hotmail account to Windows Live Mail.

When I attempt to send an e-mail from Live Mail, it gives me the
"Information about HTTP E-mail" error message and how
Windows Live dos not support "hotmail accounts".

I have downloaded and installed the Windows Live software-what am
I doing wrong?

There's no need to "convert" your account.
This group is for Windows Mail (not Live Mail).

Windows Mail cannot access http accounts. It can now access Hotmail
accounts using POP3, if you wish.

The newer Windows Live Mail can access your Hotmail account very easily.
Just enter your email address & password.
