Converting A Drive From Fat 32 To NTSF

I'm thinking of moving my page file from the C drive to a drive I've
been using only for storage. The C drive is NTSF and the storage
drive is fat 32. Would I need to convert the storage drive to NTSF in
order to do this and is there a possibility that I could lose files
and vital information on the drive during the conversion?

There would be no real need to convert the target drive to NTFS, just
to house the swap file, but you can, if you like.

You can safely convert the partition to NTFS whenever desired,
without having to format the partition and reinstall everything. As
always when performing any serious changes, back up any important data
before proceeding, just in case. A little advance preparation is also
strongly recommended, so you can avoid any performance hits caused by
the default cluster size:

It is not necessary to convert the drive. Yes there is a possibility of
loosing files or even all the data on the drive during conversion,
although it is quite rare to encounter such problems. A power failure
during conversion, for example, could have disastrous results. Best to
make sure your important data is backed up before undertaking these type
of operations. But I repeat, it is rare for conversion problems to
occur, but when they happen they can be catastrophic.
