Install Outlook. During the install process it should detect your mail
acount in Outlook Express and ask if you want to import it. Do not allow it
to do so. Do not allow it to import anything. Once you have Outlook
working, while you can click File>Import and Export>Import Internet Mail
Account Settings and follow the prompts to import your Outlook Express
ccount, I would enter it manually were I doing it. To import contacts click
File>Import and Export>Import Internet Mail and Addresses>Next. Select
Outlook Express, uncheck all but "Import Address Book", click Next, select
the duplicate handling you want, then click Finish. Finally, start Outlook
Express and click FIle>Export>Messages. Click OK to attention telling you
the process will export to Outlook or Exchange, then click OK on the folder
selection screen.
