Is there a way to convert asf files to mp3 files or cd audio so they can be
burned onto a cd for listening in the car while I am traveling.

This is something I'll be doing tonight, and I've assumed that it is
possible with dBpowerAMP Music converter: http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm
and with the asf codec installed:
http://www.dbpoweramp.com/codec-central.htm

Good luck! (For both of us!)

Anthony

You can just change asf file extension to wma, and then you'll be able
to use dBpowerAMP converter for sure.

Tried it last night, and it worked.

However, it's the converting 12 hours of audio that's going to be the
problem! (Time consuming and memory consuming)

This worked for me. Converting to cda was fairly fast. Converting to mp3
was pretty slow. Over all I am pleased. Thanks for the info.
