I'm working with some people that have decided to migrate over from a Lotus Notes Server to an Exchange 2003 server. They have the e-mail migration working ok, only issues are the users Archive file, Calendar and Contacts (located on local HD and not Notes Server) need to be migrated over. Looking for an easy to use (as these users or not in local office, mostly on the road). Anyone have a nice snap in to VB program to handle this?

In one part of the country they decided to use ACT! 6 as a shared DB, and synching with it. I have not been able to find an easy way to migrate the ACT! 6 dbs, I find the ACT! 3.x 4.x and 2000 import in Outlook 2003 but not for ACT! 6. Anyone able to help with this one?

Many thanks,

Dear Tom,

Thank you for your posting.

Regarding your questions to transfer to the lotus information on the local
hard disk, here are the answers
1. This local lotus inforamtion is stored in the NSF file. We cannot
transfer these information to Exchange Server directly.
2. We can use third party utility to convert the NSF file to PST file
directly, so you can use the data in Outlook. Here is an exmaple
application:

Regarding your questions to import the ACT! 6 DB file to Outlook 2003, I am
sorry to say that Microsoft Outlook 2003 does not include a converter for
ACT!
6.0, it only includes the converters for Act! 3.x, 4.x, 2000. This is a by
design feature in Outlook 2003. However you can use the following
workrounds to perform the data transfer:

Method1:
(1) Export the data base from Act as an ACT 6 .dbf database.
(2) Open the database file in excel 2003 as a Dbase file (.dbf).
(3) Add a row at the top of the spreadsheet.
(4) Add column titles to the data.
(5) Save as an Excel 2003 workbook file.
(6) Import form the Excel file.

Or
(1). Export All Records to test.csv in ACT
(2). Open outlook, File - Import and Export - Import from another program
or file
(3). Choose Comma Separated Values(Windows)
(4). Choose Contacts from "Select destination folder:"

Method2: Some some third-party solutions might help you accomplish this
task. For you reference, I list one of these solutions below:

Hope the above information helps. Have a nice day!

Sincerely,
