Where can I find a converter so I can read Corel .wpd files?

Do you have Word, and if yes, what version? What version of WordPerfect
was used to create the .wpd files? Do you have WordPerfect, and if yes,
what version? What happens if you try to open a .wpd file in Word?

Thanks for the reply.

My problem was that the word perfect file was e-mailed to me. It would not
open after a double click. After reading your reply, I copied the wpd file
out of the e-mail to another location, loaded Word, found the wpd file, and
sure, enough, up it came, perfectly.
