I am trying to edit a Sharepoint discussion board list view and when I try
converting to XSLT to edit sorting and grouping the webpart goes blank. I
converted the same discussion board on a test server and it worked fine but
only happens when I do it on the live server.
Does anyone have an answer to this? I've searched around with no luck.

Try asking this in one of the SharePoint newsgroups. There are more
SharePoint experts there.
