Convert .wpd to anything else?

I need to view some .wpd files (drafts of legal documents w. coloured
deletions and insertions), retaining as much formatting as possible.
Output could be .pdf, .doc, some OpenOffice format, an image, whatever.

I'm running Win ME (with no disc - it's a thriftshop box) with Office
2000 installed (again, no disc). Current Word Perfect trialware refuses
to install on ME. OpenOffice (just installed) apparently no savvy .wpd
(I have a vague sense that there might be plugins - if that's the case,
by all means call me an idiot and point me in the right direction).

Freeware preferred, of course, but under the circumstances (I'm in a
jam), I'll try just about anything.

Thanks!

No, I hadn't. On an ordinary day I'd have found it, but today...

Works like a charm. Last time I tried OO, it was still Star. Seems much
improved (and at any rate it saved my bacon this afternoon). Thanks very
much for the handholding!
