can someone please let me know if there is a way to convert a vb.net
application to asp.net. Thanks for any help you may provide

As you mean with vb.net a VB.net windowsform application, than the answer
is. No; you (maybe) can use parts which depends how your
architecture/implementation is around that vb.net windowsform application.

If it is an internal application you can see if this beneath will help you,
however I have my doubts about that.

By the way, this is not really the right newsgroup to get information for
your question.

Probably better are
microsoft.public.dotnet.languages.vb
and/or
microsoft.public.dotnet.framework.aspnet

AdoNet describes the way data is handled using the system.data classes

It does not helps much, however I hope something
