Convert .tif file to Excel file?

Can .tif file be converted to Excel file? And how? Thanks.

A .tif file is a picture (or even a picture of text).

Maybe you can run the picture through an OCR program to convert that data to
text and import that text file into excel.

Or just open the picture, right click, copy - back to excel, - right click,
paste

I guess it depends on the original poster really wanted -- a picture on the
worksheet or the data imported into the worksheet.
