received Outlook e-mail with three winmail.dat attachments. Cannot open.

How to convert these to a viewable file. Each is a photo.

Preferable: ask the sender to resend using plain text format.
If this is absolutely not an option, see
http://www.slipstick.com/addins/decoders.asp for tools you can use to
convert.
