I am needing to "downgrade" and go back to using Outlook Express instead
of OL2002. Is there a way to save all my email messages (and sub folders
of emails) a well as Contacts so Outlook Express can read/import them?

OE can import your messages directly.
For Contacts, you'll need to export to a format OE can import. CSV works
best for most users.

Thanks! After all this time using OE I never realised I could import
Outlook messages!
Now all I need is to be able to convert Outlook Mail rules into OE
Message rules. Is this possible?
I looked for an import feature in OE in the rules part but didn't see
anything!

Not that I know of.
