I've not had any problems importing WMV files into Roxio (either v7 or
v8)..... you might want to try a trial version of either Intervideo's WinDVD
Creator v2 (
www.intervideo.com) or Cyberlink's PowerDirector
(
www.gocyberlink.com).. both should accept WMV files without issues....
again, at least my versions do.
