I have four different websites that I keep on my local computer. Two of
those have a FP site symbols that appear as a folder icon with a "world"
symbol over the folder icon. Two of the websites show the folder name with
only the folder icon. Can you tell me what to do to convert those websites
that I have listed on my local computer over to a FP webiste......I hope this
is clear to someone out there!

I have looked in the non FP website folders and they appear to have all the
"different files" that the other FP sits have.

Lee,

I would suggest that you might just want to create a new
blank folder. Then copy everything from the folder
without the FrontPage logo on it over. It happened to me
before where I start messing with a FrontPage folder by
changing the name and I think I ended up deleting
something inside the folder that told FrontPage to
recognize it as a FrontPage folder. The logo disappeared
and I ended up with a regular folder. Never figured out
how to get it back as a FrontPage folder. It did not keep
me from working with it.

Hi

Do the following.

File
Open

Then find the folder you want to convert to Frontpage Folder

FP may ask the following "Convert folder to a frontpage site" or something.

Click Ok.

This should work

I usually just open them in FrontPage, browse to the file in fp and open it
from within FrontPage.
