Convert from Audio CD to MP3 File.

Hi! A friend of mine plans to convert pieces of music on audio CDs to
MP3 files. Whithout any knowledge in this matter, could you suggest me a
software doing the job you have already experienced. Thanks for your
kind response!

EAC, hands down. Especially if any of your CDs are anything less than
mint condition.

I can't figure out how to have it ask the freedb for the names of the
tracks; it keeps objecting that the genre is wrong, the disc title is
wrong, etc etc etc

Also: if I extract audio with EAC, how do I burn it to an audio disc
with Feurio?

EAC does need more configuration work and understanding. Maybe
an out of the box solution is better for you, like the also
mentioned CDex or Audiograbber.

Sheldon, you sound relatively new to this sort of thing.
Why not read up on the topic at Radified?
It is a good and practical intro.
