Just open it. ASCII is another term for 'plain text'. Use SaveAs to save it
as a Word document, unless you have to send it back to your client as an
ASCII file, in which case save it as text; and in this case bear in mind,
while you work on it, that plain text carries no formatting other than line
and page breaks -- no fonts, no bold, no colors, etc.
