Don't import pst files. Just use Outlook to open the pst file (File - Open -
Outlook Data File).

Tried what you suggested and received the message ".....not compatable with
this version"

Uh oh...yes, I see in the subject line you are going from 2003 to 2002. 2003
has a different format. Bummer. Any chance you can open the pst file on
another PC that has Outlook 2003? Then you could create a "97-2002" type pst
file, copy your stuff from the 2003 pst file into the 97-2002 pst file. Then
use the 97-2002 pst file on your new PC.

Fairly convoluted...but it should work. I am not aware of a conversion
utility (but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist).

Thanks. Will give that a shot. The other PC in the house has 2003. Will
e-mail the file and see what I can do
